Actoress is a musical experiment in compositional naiveté by Kortland Chase Hetzel.

Similar to the way an actor takes on different roles to become a new character in film, through each set of original songs, I attempt to emulate a different genre of music outside my realm of comfort (and proficiency) to gain/add new perspective on the compositional makeup of said genre.

"Perseverations" is the second of such collections. It was inspired by the high falutin pomp of dramatic film scores and plays with the complexities of orchestral arrangement/composition to tell a story with out words or images.
